Moms Washer

When I first moved to Arizona, twenty something years ago, it was to the Navaho Nation that I made my home. Long story how that came to pass. Had family there, and marital ties as well through an uncle. Over those many years I saw many wonderous things. Both in the landscape, but mainly in the people. I learned to see things in a totaly new way. The physical reality, turns out for me was completely different than I imagined. And the spiritual reality. This is what I want to talk about today. Durring the monsoon season, there can be some very frightening thunder storms, the last year I was there, three tornados. Dine call them chei. Grandfather, He comes to gather up things of no value. At least that's how I understand it. Anyway, you can be somewhere and see one of these hudge thunder clouds race by in the distance, and get the feeling that things are trying to return to equalib

Frustrationater

Frustrationater, otherwise known as a computer! Sometimes it seems as if it is plotting against me. Or maybe I'm just crazy. Sure would be nice if it would just call a truce. Several times I've tried to check out my gmail, facebook, and all the other stuff I'm trying to learn, and it starts behaving any way it wants to. Locking up or creating errors on every page. If it starts to shoot sparks and catch on fire I'll have to get a new one. Probably time anyway, this one is about ten years old. So It's not really the computers' fault. It's just my inability to let this one just pass away in peace. One things for sure, it's been a good teacher. Learned to bring my heart rate down a few beats on comand. Until next time, I am what I am.

change in the face of the constant inconsistancy

It's said that things change. This is certainly true. Old dogs can learn to bark a different tune. Just the fact that this old dog is even blogging is testamony. A couple of weeks ago I didn't know anything about the cybor world... let alone gmail, facebook, or classmates. Wow how things change! The pace at which things can change is mind boggling... It's a good thing. It is only recently that I have been able to give up some of my preferences for nonchange... how cool! Sometimes you will read about somethings as I understand them at the time. And like the sometimers that I have, you might read something that doesnt make a bit of sense . Oh well, sometimes I like to chase rabbits. Untill next time, I am what I am.

कुएस्त फॉर रिचेस

In this life we tend to loose sight of the important things. What are they? Each of us has a different set of "important things." The shack I am standing in was left behind after the gold rush in Arizona. Nothing but an empty shell. Whoever lived there is long since gone.
Sometimes we get so caught up in the pursuit of things that leave us just like that little shack. An empty shell. That no matter how we try we just can't seem to find the right furnishings to fill it up. An old worn out couch, a spool for a coffee table, and nailed up curtains. The illusion of fulfillment. Yet always wanting.
A man once said "Set your mind on Heavenly Things" and "The Kingdom of Heaven is within you."
Chase after the "Important Things" and find out for your self, what is self and nonself.

unseen things

most things are just as they seem. some things come like parables. knowing the difference takes disciplin and practice. one must know him or herself first befere one can truley know anything. knowledge is a wellspring that is within each of us. without the complete knowledge of ones self, we are destined to wander aimlessly through our existance. never realizing the awesome beauty that comes from an enlightened heart.the mind is what leads us to the inner truth, the heart that lays claim on it, and the spirit person rejoices and blossoms into a true human being. or should it be said, a human that is being. full of love that is from everlasting to everlasting....

what now ...

we have sent our explorers to find the answers. where are they? what now? don't wait on them because they're not comming back. They found the answers and have no intrest in returning. WHAT NOW? It's time to become the explorer ourselves. Look within to find enlightenment... Remember the questions YOU asked, the answers are within YOU ! The truth is waiting for you to discover.
